Shakib Al Hasan did wonders in the first ODI against India. He created history in 8 overs. In the first ODI being played in Mirpur, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli did not even make a move in front of the Bangladeshi bowler and they created history by taking 5 wickets. Shakib had achieved the feat of joining the club of 5 wickets in his first 7 overs only.
Shakib has become the first Bangladeshi spinner to do so in ODI cricket against India. Not only this, he has become the second left arm spinner after England’s Ashley Giles to take 5 wickets in ODI cricket against India. In the first ODI, Rohit, Kohli, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar became victims of Shakib.
