Starcast was getting huge amount for bold photoshoot
Arun Govil, who till date is known as Ram of Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, revealed that the starcast of the serial was asked for an intimate photoshoot. He said, “When we were shooting for ‘Ramayana’, many reputed magazines approached me and other actors to do intimate photoshoots. They were so upset that they would pay the maximum price for it. But none of us accepted their offer because we believed that our audience looks up to us and trusts us. We could never afford to betray their trust for money.”

Arun Govil also revealed in The Kapil Sharma Show that once when he went to Mauritius with his wife, a strange incident happened. Actually Arun Govil was crossing the road with his wife, meanwhile some people stopped there. Who had seen Ramayana. After that they started prostrating on the middle of the road. Seeing which he and his wife were surprised.
