The lizard was seen crossing the boundary line in the 47th over of Sri Lanka’s innings. In fact, all the players including the umpire were quite surprised to see such a big lizard entering the field. Talking about the match, Afghanistan had scored 198/10 while playing first with the help of Rahmat Shah’s 91 runs. For Sri Lanka, Vishwa Fernando took maximum 4 wickets while Asitha Fernando and Prabhat Jayasuriya also took 3 wickets each.
In reply, Sri Lanka scored 439 runs in the first innings with the help of Angelo Mathews’ 141 runs and Dinesh Chandimal’s 107 runs and took a lead of 241 runs.
