Akash Ambani is looking at Reliance Jio and Isha Ambani is looking at Reliance Retail. Whereas Mukesh Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani is looking at Reliance Energy.
Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani has handed over the responsibility of different businesses to his three children as part of his succession plan. He will remain the chairman of the company for five years. Like mother Nita Ambani, Akash, Anant and Isha now have a compensation structure. Neeta joined the board of the company in 2014.
On one hand, Isha Ambani is handling the company’s retail business Reliance Retail. On the other hand, Akash Ambani is handling the responsibility of telecom business Jio. His younger brother Anant Ambani owns the energy and renewable energy business of Reliance.
