According to a report in Mid Day, ‘Aashiqui 3’ maker Mukesh Bhatt has expressed disappointment over the rumors related to the film. He said, “We should not have made the announcement so soon.” Every day there is speculation about the film or its casting. I am tired of these stories coming out of nowhere.” Bhatt further said that Anurag Basu, who is the director of the film, is currently busy with many other projects. They said that once the script is finalized they will see if they can go ahead with it.” Bhatt said that Karthik Aryan will also have to like the script only then he will work on its music. He said, “We want to make Aashiqui 3 the right way.”
Both the films of Aashiqui franchise were super-duper hits.
Let us tell you that Aashiqui, released in 1990, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal played lead roles in the film. The film was a super-duper hit and its soundtrack sold around 20 million units. In the year 2013, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Aashiqui 2’, directed by Mohit Suri, was released. This film also proved to be super successful at the box office. The soundtrack of Aashiqui 2 was also highly appreciated. At present everyone is eagerly waiting for ‘Aashiqui 3’.
