KL Rahul: In the World Cup 2023, the last league match was played between India and Netherlands on the special occasion of Diwali on 12th November. In which the host team India registered a one-sided victory.
Netherlands got the target of 411 runs in the match. In response, Netherlands scored 250/10 with the help of Teja Nidamanuru’s 54 runs and Sybrand Engelbrecht’s 45 runs. For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each. While Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also took one wicket each.
Earlier, India won the toss and batted first and scored 410 with the help of centuries from Rohit Sharma (61), Shubman Gill (51) and Virat Kohli (51) along with centuries from Shreyas Iyer (128*) and KL Rahul (102). Score was made.

KL Rahul broke MS Dhoni’s record
With his inning of 102 runs against Netherlands, KL Rahul has broken a big record of veteran MS Dhoni. In fact, Rahul has left MS Dhoni behind in terms of playing the biggest innings in a World Cup match as a wicketkeeper.
KL Rahul has become the second Indian player after Team India’s current coach Rahul Dravid to score a century in the World Cup as a wicketkeeper.
Rahul Dravid had played an inning of 145 runs as a wicketkeeper against the Sri Lankan team in the 1999 World Cup. After his inning of 102 runs against Netherlands, KL Rahul has become the second wicketkeeper of India to achieve this feat.
Apart from this, KL Rahul had played an unbeaten inning of 97 runs against Australia in the World Cup 2023 itself. Talking about MS Dhoni, this veteran played an unbeaten inning of 91 runs against Sri Lanka in the final of the World Cup 2011. Whereas Dhoni had scored unbeaten 85 runs against Zimbabwe in the World Cup 2015.
