Jennifer Mistry: ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ The Mumbai Police has registered a case against K maker Asit Kumar Modi. This case was registered on the basis of the complaint of an actor of the show. However, the allegations leveled against him were dismissed by Asit Modi. But now actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who has claimed a serious sexual offense against Asit Kumar Modi, has now demanded a public apology from him.
Recently, during an interview, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal told that she has made many serious and false allegations against me. Why did they tolerate me for so long if I was just so annoying? Why was I brought back in the show after Dilkush left. I want a public apology from him. Why did Sohil contradict his own statement – first I abuse etc, then I am his close friend.
Talking about the whole matter, Jennifer was a part of this show for the last 15 years. But after 15 years, when she came out of this show, she made very serious allegations against the show’s maker Asit Modi. According to him, Asti Modi has harassed him mentally and he had made serious allegations of sexual harassment. Apart from this, the actress had filed a complaint against producer Modi, project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj for alleged sexual harassment at the workplace.

Despite registering a complaint, the Mumbai Police has registered a case against Asit Kumar Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The Powai police have registered a case against him under sections 354 and 509 (assault or criminal force with intent to outrage the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, so far no arrest has been made in this case.
