R Ashwin: The second match of the five-Test series being played between India and England is being played in Visakhapatnam. In which host India has strengthened its hold by the end of the second day’s play. In fact, after getting a lead of 140+ runs in the first innings, Team India’s openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma have given a strong start in the second innings also.

The second day of the Visakhapatnam Test was in the name of Team India’s opening batsmen Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah. On one hand, Jaiswal played a historic inning of 209 runs while Jasprit Bumrah also made India look strong by taking 6 wickets. Amidst all this, a very shameful record has been registered in the name of Team India’s most senior bowler Ravichandran Ashwin.

In reply to India’s 396 runs, England’s innings was reduced to just 253 runs. During this, Jasprit Bumrah showed the way to the pavilion to 6 players while Kuldeep Yadav also got 3 wickets. Akshar Patel also got one wicket in England’s first innings.

In the first innings, Team India’s most senior bowler Ravichandran Ashwin gave 61 runs while bowling 12 overs but did not get a single wicket. With this a shameful record has been added to his name.

In fact, this is the fifth time during the Test matches played in India when all 10 wickets of the opposing team have fallen and Ashwin has not got a single wicket.
