Mandhana’s amazing performance in the entire Commonwealth Games
Smriti Mandhana has once again shown the talent of her bat. Smriti Mandhana has been in great form throughout this Commonwealth Games and has proved once again that she is one of the finest cricketers India has ever produced. Mandhan is the player with the most runs, most fifty, most sixes and most fours in these Commonwealth Games so far.
Mandhana has scored 153 runs in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in four innings with an average of 51 and a strike rate of 156.
Mandhana’s half-century in 23 balls is the fastest fifty by any Indian woman in International T20 cricket. The interesting thing is that Smriti Mandhana herself is among the fastest Indian players to score a century in the top three places.
At number two, Smriti Mandhana has scored a half-century in 24 balls and she has played another such innings in 25 balls.
Mandhana and Rodrigues’s contribution outweighs the rest
The contribution of Smriti Mandhana and Rodrigues was so significant that both of them scored 105 runs in 63 balls while the rest of the batsmen could only add 57 runs in 57 balls. 2 runs came as extra.
It remains to be seen whether hosts England can achieve this target or not but this competition was definitely in the name of Smriti Mandhana’s form.
