Controversy over Governor Koshyari’s statement on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, petition in HC to remove him from the post

Shivaji Remark Row: A petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court against Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for his statement on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Senior advocate Nitin Satput has filed this petition demanding Koshiyari’s removal from the post of governor. Koshyari had described Chhatrapati Shivaji as an old ideal.
