CBI registers case in police constable recruitment paper leak case, this is how it was revealed


HP Paper Leak Case: The CBI has registered a case against five accused in the Himachal Pradesh Police constable recruitment paper leak case. On May 17, 2022, the government had decided to hand over the paper leak case of police constable recruitment to the CBI, but now six months later, an FIR has been registered against the five accused in Chandigarh.

The CBI has registered an FIR in the Himachal Pradesh Police constable recruitment paper leak case after about six months. Till now, more than 171 accused including 116 candidates were arrested in the recruitment paper leak case. Three charge sheets have been filed against them in Arki Courts of Shimla, Kangra and Solan. This year, the police written examination held on March 27 was canceled due to paper leak. After that there were papers again on 3rd July.

What is the matter?

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted in the case is questioning the IPS officers involved in the printing committee. The CBI has registered a case against the five accused after six months. Now it has to be seen what the CBI finds in its hands? In the coming days, it will be known that who are the other two people involved in leaking the paper.

The Kangra police arrested three candidates on May 6 on suspicion of paper leak, who later admitted that they had seen the solved paper before the exam. Subsequently, an FIR was registered at Gaggal police station in Kangra under sections 420 (cheating), 201 (causing destruction of evidence or making false information) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
