What was Kharge’s statement?
While addressing a public meeting in Ahmedabad, the financial capital of Gujarat, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge took a jibe at PM Modi. In fact, regarding the BJP asking for votes in the name of PM Modi in the municipal and assembly elections, Kharge had said, “Modi is going to come here and do municipal work? Is Modi going to come here and help you in trouble?” Hey, you are the prime minister. You have been given a job. Do that job.”
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “He left municipal elections, MLA elections… MP elections… Because he wants to become the prime minister, he keeps on moving… But all the time he keeps talking about himself. You Do not look at anyone’s opinion, vote after seeing Modi. Brother, how many times have you seen your face. Seeing your face in Municipal Corporation also, seeing your face in MLA elections.. Your face in MP elections too… Everywhere… How many are there brothers.. Do they have hundred faces like Ravana. What is this? I do not understand.”
BJP tweeted
Taking a dig at Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement, the BJP tweeted, “Whenever Modi was abused, Congress’s purse was empty.
