Ultraviolet X44: The company has trademarked a new name, what can be a cheap electric bike?

Bangalore based electric bike maker, Ultraviolette Automotive has filed a trademark application for the X44 name in India. However, it is not yet known for which model the UltraViolet X44 name will be used.
It is believed that this name can be used for the upcoming electric bike of the company. Ultraviolette started this year with the F77 electric bike. It is the fastest bike of the company, which has received a great response from the people.
The Ultraviolette F77 is being made available at a price tag of Rs 3.80 lakh, which goes up to Rs 4.55 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. In such a situation, this bike is beyond the reach of the common man as it is the first performance electric bike in the country.
This electric bike is for the customer segment who are looking for a fast electric bike. In such a situation, the company can bring an affordable electric bike to reach the mass customers and X44 can be the name of this bike.
Ultraviolette X44 can provide an affordable bike company entry in the main market. Small battery pack and slightly comfortable ergonomics can be given in this bike. In such a situation, the price of this upcoming bike of Ultraviolette can be from 2 to 2.5 lakh rupees.
It will be slightly cheaper than the current model of Ultraviolette but will maintain a premium niche in the market. It is believed that this could be an electric adventure bike from Ultraviolette. The new bike could share the same mechanicals with the F77.
It could get new bodywork, long travel suspension, spoked wheels etc. Now only Ultraviolet will be able to reveal more details about this bike. Now the company will be preparing to bring it along with registering new names.
In April this year, Ultraviolette started deliveries of the limited edition F77 electric bike. The company also opened its Global Experience Center – Ultraviolet Hangar in Bangalore. This will be the flagship retail touchpoint of the company.
The bookings for the Ultraviolette F77 Limited Edition were opened in November 2022 and got fully booked in just 2 hours. Only 77 units of the F77 electric bike were made available under the company Limited Edition.
