New Nexon:Tata Motors is preparing to bring the facelift version of its three SUVs Nexon, Harrier, and Safari to the market. The facelift version of Tata’s Nexon will come in August 2023, apart from this, the updated version of Harrier and Safari can also be launched in the festive season this year. Currently, the company is testing all these three versions. According to the report, the 2023 Nexon facelift will not only get a more powerful petrol engine, but it will also get cosmetic changes and features inspired by the Curve SUV.

2023 Tata Nexon: Powertrain
Coming to the powertrain options of the new Tata Nexon, the Tata Nexon facelift could be equipped with the all-new 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that was showcased at the Auto Expo with the Curvv ICE concept. It is a three-cylinder unit that produces 125hp at 5,000rpm and 225Nm of torque between 1,700 and 3,500rpm. The current Nexon comes with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120hp and 170Nm of torque. The SUV will also be available with a 1.5-liter diesel that produces 115hp and 260Nm of torque.
Tata Nexon will get touch-based HVAC controls
The interiors of the Nexon facelift will be inspired by the Curves concept and the HVAC console follows the same trend. Although the concept had a floating console, according to the design patent, it will be an integrated unit consisting of a large touch-based panel and two toggle switches.
Tata Nexon Facelift: Price and Rivals
There is a possibility that the facelift version of the Tata Nexon may be launched around August this year, talking about its price, as you have been told that many updates will be done in the upcoming car, then it is likely that its price may also increase. The SUV will compete with many cars in this category including- Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300.
