When the Tesla Cybertruck was introduced in 2019, it became a topic of discussion around the world. The unique design language of the Tesla Cybertruck caught the attention of everyone, including common people as well as big celebrities.
The Tesla Cybertruck received a great response during bookings but despite this, its production was not started. Now Tesla has started production of the Alpha variant of Tesla Cybertruck, till now it was only being tested.
Tesla Cybertruck was also seen testing several times, but till then Tesla had not installed production equipment in its factory for mass production of Tesla Cybertruck. Now the company is going to mass produce the Tesla Cybertruck.
Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk had said that the production of Tesla Cybertruck will be started from September 2023. But now drone footage of Tesla’s factory has surfaced, showing that the company has installed all the equipment for the Tesla Cybertruck.
The Tesla Cybertruck will be offered in single, duo, tri and quad motor setups, but the specifications of these models are yet to be revealed. The quad setup is supposed to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
The Tesla Cybertruck didn’t have any major competitors when it was introduced, but the electric pickup truck market is now very competitive. Currently its competition is Ford F150 Lightning. Rivian R1T and GMC Hummer EV.
We expect the Tesla Cybertruck to do well in the international market, including the USA. At the same time, it is believed that it will be brought with a lot of modern technology, which also includes autonomous driving technology.
The company had started bookings before the truck started production and received bookings of around 10 lakh units. Tesla did not tell the delivery time of these trucks while booking, yet people booked it fiercely.
During the introduction of the company, the pre-booking amount of Cybertruck was kept only $ 100 (about Rs. 8000), due to which people booked this truck in a big way. Now its delivery can start from 2024.
