TVS Motor Company has announced a partnership with food delivery platform Zomato. With this, Zomato is going to electrify its last-mile delivery system and will strengthen its TVS electrification journey.
Under this partnership, TVS will be deploying 10,000 units of the TVS iQube electric scooter in a span of 2 years. Along with this, TVS will be providing charging station access for its delivery partners using iQube scooters.

Currently, the last-mile delivery business is growing rapidly in the country. Common people in the country are also adopting electric vehicles and along with this, electric vehicles are also going to reduce emissions when it comes to last-mile delivery business.
TVS launched the iQube in three variants – Standard, S and ST. The TVS iQube ST is powered by a 4.56 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 3kW electric motor. This scooter is capable of giving a range of 145 km on a full charge.
The standard variant of the iQube gets a 5.0-inch color TFT display, while the S and ST variants get a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen display. The connected features of the scooter have also been expanded and the variant with the 7.0-inch screen also gets Alexa integration.
While its top speed is limited to 82 km/h. The ST variant gets a 32-litre underseat storage compartment. The new TVS iQube electric scooter now comes with multiple charging options. Fast charging option is also available in it.
The S and ST variants come with a 650W and 950W portable charger, which can fully charge the scooter’s battery in 4.5 hours and 3 hours, respectively. At the same time, the option of 1.5kW portable fast charger is also available in the ST variant.
Features like Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging port, geo-fencing, theft alert, turn-by-turn navigation, ride mode, call alert, music control, secret mode, park assist have been given in this electric scooter. These features can be accessed from the display.
The scooter gets telescopic front forks and dual rear shockers, while the braking hardware includes a single front disc and rear drum unit. The scooter comes with 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 90/90 front and rear tyres.
