As per the new brochure, safety features like electronic stability program and hill hold assist have been removed from the CNG variant of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV. However, seatbelt reminder is now standard across all seats.
However, the biggest change is the removal of the mild-hybrid system from the manual gearbox variant. As a result, this fuel saving feature is only available with the automatic gearbox variants. In such a situation, more people will choose automatic.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 99.2 bhp power and 136 Nm torque. The CNG variant, on the other hand, produces 86.63 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque.
There has been no change in the gearbox options of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Maruti Suzuki Brezza has a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. Whereas, the CNG variant gets a 5-speed manual as standard.
In Brezza, LED headlight, LED DRL, two piece taillight, square wheel arches and faux skid plates have been given. No changes have been made to its looks or interiors. It has been kept as before.
We believe that Maruti Suzuki should not have removed the electronic stability control and hill hold assist features from the Brezza. Both these are very important safety features and at the right time they come in handy and can even save your life.
