Honda is going to bring new bike on August 2, company released teaser
Honda Motorcycle is going to launch a new bike in India on 2nd August. The company has also released its teaser. It is believed that this could be a premium commuter bike in the 160-180cc segment.
Honda can bring this bike under the existing brand name only and it is believed that its name can be SP160. Currently, Honda is selling the Unicorn 160 and Hornet 2.0 in this segment and the new bike will be positioned between the two.
Both these Honda bikes have a 162cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which provides 13.27 bhp power and 14.59 newton meter torque. It is expected that Honda may offer the same engine with the same power in the new bike.
Honda may only reveal the new bike in the coming week, it may be launched a few weeks later. At the same time, the hardware can also be kept the same. The new bike can be given telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear.

The new Honda SP 125 has been made available in 2 variants and 5 color options. Its top spec variant ‘Disc’ has been priced at Rs 89,131. The SP 125 is powered by a 125cc, single cylinder, fuel injected engine that complies with the new emission norms.
