Mahindra has confirmed that the Thar 5 Door will be introduced only in 2024, making an August 2023 launch very unlikely. This was announced during the quarterly results meeting held earlier this year.

The Mahindra Thar 5 door has been spied testing several times, and the front images reveal that it will come with a metal roof and sunroof. It could be brought with the same engine options as the current Thar – 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel.
