Recently Baba Ramdev has upgraded his ride from Mahindra XUV700 to Land Rover Defender 130. He was recently spotted driving the new Defender 130, which looks fresh from the showroom.
This SUV being driven by Baba Ramdev does not even have a registration plate. A video of him has surfaced in which he is seen driving the Defender, the SUV in Sedona Red colour, which is not available in the 110 variant.
The 2023 Defender 130 was launched earlier this year and the deliveries started soon. Defender 130 price starts at Rs 1.3 Crore and goes up to Rs 1.41 Crore.
The information about which variant Baba Ramdev has bought is not available. The Defender 130 was launched as an extended version of the Defender 110, with the same wheelbase but longer by 340 mm due to the third row.
It is built on the same platform but has a longer body length. The exterior design and cabin layout have been kept similar to the Defender 110. This SUV has single-pod LED headlight, LED DRL, panoramic sunroof.
In this, 20-inch alloy wheels, smoked tail lights etc. have been given. Defender 130 gets 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 zone automatic climate control, 14 electrically adjustable front seats.
For the Indian market, Land Rover offers the Defender 130 with two engine options. The first is a 3.0-litre petrol engine that produces 394 Bhp of power and 550 Nm of torque. The other one is the 3.0-litre diesel engine.
This engine provides 296 bhp power and 600 newton meter torque. Both the engines come with mild hybrid technology and four wheel drive system. This new ride of Baba Ramdev is in a different color due to which it looks very attractive.
Baba Ramdev had earlier owned Mahindra XUV700, which he has been seen driving. Baba Ramdev may not own a car, but before that he has been seen in Jaguar XJ L as well. And his close friend Balakrishna has a Range Rover.
