Ratish Kumar, Vice Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, told that the incident took place on Sunday evening. According to him, the victim, a history teacher, informed the parents of a student about his poor academic performance in a parent-teacher meeting (PTM). After this, some students formed a group and started troubling the teacher by forming a group.
More than 40 students attacked the teacher
He said, some even pushed him and one student even tried to pull his hair. According to Kumar, some other female teachers, school staff and students saved the teacher from the boys. A school employee told that when she came out of the school premises, more than 40 students surrounded her. The employee told on the condition of anonymity that he used abusive language. Tried to assault him and also threatened him.
Threatened the principal as well, but no complaint was registered
Ratish Kumar, Vice Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya told that at one point he threatened to enter my quarters to kill me. Since they are our students, we did not report them to the police. In this whole matter, the police said that they are aware of the incident but no formal complaint has been lodged.
