Army Day 2022: Indian Army Day being celebrated today

January 15 is one of the important dates for the country. Today is celebrated as Indian Army Day. On this occasion, many veteran leaders of the country including the President, Prime Minister have appreciated the valor of the Indian Army. President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday said the Indian Army has played an important role in ensuring national security and the nation is grateful to them for their service.

Congratulating the serving and retired army personnel on Army Day, Kovind said that the soldiers displayed professional attitude, sacrifice and bravery while guarding the country’s borders and maintaining peace. He tweeted, “Happy Army Day to existing and retired army personnel. The Indian Army has played an important role in ensuring national security.
